COURSE

The Tour de Tri 24 hour event requires competitors to compete as many mini triathlons as they can in 24 hours.

SWIM
300m swim in heated 50m pool. The swim is a 6 lap zigzag format where competitors swim around buoys at each end of the pool.

CYCLE
The 9 km cycle course is on a completely flat closed road next to the lake at Kawana. The course is well lit with competitors completing 3 laps.

RUN
The 2 km run course runs alongside the lake and is a one lap out and back effort.

WHAT TO BRING

You will need to bring all your own gear such as cap, goggles, bike and shoes, helmet, runners, hat, sunnies and water bottles. A light on the front and back of bikes is required, and also a flashing light for the run leg.

The weather could be quite cold, so in addition, bring along arm warmers, a wind vest, a beanie, gloves etc. There will be spaces to set up camp and club tents’ so you can bring along a sleeping bag, pillows, a hot water bottle, a rug, some warm dry clothes, a change of clothes and any other personal needs for 24 hours. Competitors will have access to toilets and showers at the Aquatic Centre.

CAMPING

Bring your tent, campervan or sleep in your car and experience the whole 24 hours of the Tour de Tri. The camping area is set-up right next to the bike and run course so you can watch the action from the comfort of your campsite.

FOOD AND BEVERAGE

We will provide all participants with water, fruit, and Infinit sports drink at the aid station in transition.

Food and drinks can also be purchased from the onsite caterers and coffee van. Please help support the services onsite as part of the profits from food/drink sales will go to the Law Enforcement Torch Run charity.
